Duralife sets the standard in PVC medical equipment.  The company was founded by two US veterans, Danial Day and Tim Ludgate in 1988. A primary goal continues to be the preservation and expansion of American manufacturing.

South Williamsport, Pennsylvania was the original home of Duralife. Manufacturing operations moved to Philadelphia in 2016. We’ve continued our original standard for Performance, Value and Comfort. Over 30 years of business success is a privilege. As a result, we thank our customers for their continued support as we continue our growth.

With over 30 years of experience, Duralife continues to provide innovation in the PVC medical equipment field. We are committed to American made products. As a result, we use the finest, medical grade materials available.

Our products improve quality of life by promoting patient independence. In addition, our products provide comfort and peace of mind, while adhering to strict medical standards. No matter your challenges – our products provide solutions.

Our US-made product line includes: shower/bath chairs, commodes and our Duraglide transfer systems. All of our products come fully assembled and are built to order by our experienced team. All manufacturing, sewing, and assembly is done on-site in our Philadelphia factory.

PVC provides the same strength and durability as stainless steel, at a fraction of the cost. It is also easier to clean. It’s much easier to transport. It inhibits the growth of bacteria or viruses.

Unlike metal, PVC cannot rust or corrode. As a result, it will last 10-15 years, on average.
